Job summary

RadNet in Bowie, MD is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team delivering high-quality care. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and administer contrast when needed while following established protocols.

You will work closely with physicians, radiologists and staff to provide accurate images, communicate clearly with patients, and maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required by state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Adhere to safety policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast safely when needed.
• Adjust MRI parameters to optimize image quality.
• Guide patients through the exam and address questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications.
