Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking an MRI technologist to perform MRI examinations including neuro and dynamic scans under the supervision of the Radiologist. You will operate the MRI unit and accessories, ensure safe, high-quality imaging, and assist students and staff within the Imaging Department.

You will report to the Director of Imaging and contribute to patient safety while maintaining professional standards.

Qualifications

• Neuro and dynamic MRI techniques performed under supervision.
• Proficient with MRI unit, accessories, injectors, teleradiology and laser camera.
• Follow department protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Use MRI equipment to create cross-sectional image scans for diagnosis.
• Interact with patients and physicians to ensure quality examinations.
• May administer intravenous injections of contrast dyes.
• Maintain MRI safety and coordinate with care team for patient comfort.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support on-call coverage as part of job requirements.
