Job summary

RadNet in Hewlett, NY is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients and ensure safety by following policies and protocols. You will administer contrast when needed and adjust parameters to produce diagnostic images.

You will guide patients through the exam, respond to physician questions, maintain patient confidentiality, and collaborate with a skilled team to deliver excellent care in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness and other imaging parameters.
• Guide patients through the exam and address questions and concerns.
