Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI exams and ensure high-quality imaging for ambulatory patients. ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is preferred and must be obtained within one year of hire.

You will operate MRI equipment, manage contrast administration, and document procedures in the EMR while upholding safety standards. The role includes collaboration with the radiology team and involvement in QC activities.

Qualifications

• MRI safety and patient care required.
• Certification in MRI (ARRT MR or ARMRIT) preferred.
• Experience with PACS/EMR tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and exam details.
• Conduct MRI scans with high diagnostic quality.
• Perform IV insertions and contrast injections with monitoring.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and protocols.
• Perform quality control checks on MRI equipment.
• Assist with scheduling, transport, inventory, and filing.
