Job summary

Northwest Health in Valparaiso, IN is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine MRI procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort. The role requires operating imaging equipment, preparing patients, and following department protocols to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. Part-time position 11:00 a.m.

to 7:30 p.m. with potential rotation to day shift. Requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology or MRI program and ARRT or ARMRIT eligibility within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience.
• ARRT or ARMRIT eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operates MRI equipment and processes images per safety guidelines.
• Maintains MRI supplies and equipment readiness.
• Collaborates with radiologists, physicians and healthcare team for optimal imaging.
