Job summary

Northwest-Health-Porte is seeking an MRI Technologist I for part-time 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. with potential rotation to day shift. The role performs MRI procedures, ensures patient safety and comfort, and produces high-quality images for radiologists.

You will operate MRI equipment, manage supplies, educate patients, and maintain safety standards. ARRT or ARMRIT certification and BCLS are required or obtained within 12 months. 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0–2 years of clinical experience as an MRI Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Review patient histories for contraindications and safety.
• Operate MRI equipment and processing software.
• Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams.
• Maintain MRI safety standards and zones.
