CHS Career Site is seeking an MRI Technologist I in a part-time role. The incumbent will perform routine MRI procedures, ensure patient safety and comfort, and produce high-quality images for physician evaluation.

Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, maintaining supplies, and adhering to safety standards throughout the procedure. Ideal candidates have graduated from an accredited MRI program with 0-2 years of clinical MRI experience and strong communication skills for patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program required.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Educates and prepares patients for MRI exams to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Maintains MRI safety standards and zones; verifies patient readiness.
• Documents clinical history and correlates with exam findings.
• Maintains inventory and ensures sterility of MRI supplies and equipment.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team for optimal results.
