Job summary

Akumin Inc. in Key West, FL seeks an MRI Technologist for a full-time role at our Key West facility. The position emphasizes patient safety, image quality, and teamwork in a clinical radiology setting. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is included to the right candidate.

Responsibilities include producing diagnostic MRI images, assisting with transport and setup, and training newer staff, while maintaining excellent patient communication and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State License, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Associate's Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred.
• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality diagnostic images.
• Pre-screen for contraindications and ensure patient safety.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, and assists in transport preparation.
• Communicate effectively with customers and radiologists.
• Train new technologists.
