Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist at our Michigan location. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging with an emphasis on patient comfort and safety. You will explain procedures, connect with patients, and maintain accurate imaging quality.

Qualified candidates are ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registered, may require state licensure, CPR, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred: an Associate’s degree and MR registry. Competitive benefits and a supportive team await.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registry preferred.
• State license as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screening as needed.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Order supplies, clean unit, assist in transport.
• Communicate with patients and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
