Akumin Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist for the West Palm Beach site. You will ensure patient safety, perform high-quality MR studies on site and in remote settings when required, and communicate with radiologists, staff, and patients to ease the procedure.

The role requires ARRT MR registration, licensure if applicable, CPR/BLS, and a willingness to train and orient new technologists and assistants. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT/NMTCB/ARMDS; MR registration required for oversight.
• State license as Radiologic or MR Technologist as applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification; ACLS if required by role.
• Vaccination may be required; pre-employment checks will be performed.
• Awareness of Medicare/contractor MR billing where applicable.

Aufgaben

• Maintain patient safety and pre-screening before MR procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images on site or remotely.
• Communicate with radiologists, staff and patients to facilitate exams.
• Train or orient new technologists and MR assistants on site or remote.
• Adhere to regulatory and safety standards; assist with clinical moves as needed.
