Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist at our Wesley Chapel, FL facility for a full-time role. Responsibilities include patient safety, performing high-quality MR studies on-site and remotely when required, and communicating with radiologists, staff and patients.

Requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT as contract allows, CPR, state license if applicable, and high school diploma; preferred Associate’s degree. Offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, benefits including health, HSA, 401(k), PTO.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials as allowable by contract.
• State license, if applicable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screening for contra-indications.
• Produce high quality diagnostic MR images.
• Operate multiple MR systems as required.
• Train and orient new technologists and coordinators; communicate effectively with radiologists and patients.
