Job summary

UnityPoint Health - Meriter is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations with proficiency, applying various pulse sequences and surface coils while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role emphasizes patient care and adherence to our values.

Requirements include ARRT MR eligibility, CPR certification, and knowledge of anatomy and PACS. A $7,500 sign-on bonus and the Career Launch student stipend program support new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT MR Certification eligible; must become MR registered within 2 years of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI-related pathology.
• Knowledge of PACS system and image/sequence organization.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task according to demand.

$7,500 SIGN ON BONUS!

Student Stipend Program Eligible! Our Career Launch program allows medical imaging students to receive $1,500/month, up to six months prior to graduation and an additional $500 bonus after receiving the required licensure for the role.

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI examinations with proficiency. This is accomplished by utilizing various pulse sequences and surface coils. The MRI Technologist maintains and operates equipment in a safe and professional manner, ensures proper patient care with special emphasis on maintaining organizational values and standards of behavior.
