Job summary

UnityPoint Health - Meriter is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI examinations with proficiency, applying various pulse sequences and surface coils while ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. The role emphasizes patient care and adherence to our values.

Requirements include ARRT MR eligibility, CPR certification, and knowledge of anatomy and PACS. A $7,500 sign-on bonus and the Career Launch student stipend program support new grads.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT MR Certification eligible; must become MR registered within 2 years of hire.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI-related pathology.
• Knowledge of PACS system and image/sequence organization.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task according to demand.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations with proficiency using multiple pulse sequences and coils.
• Maintain and operate MRI equipment safely and professionally.
• Ensure patient care aligns with organizational values and standards.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality imaging and workflows.
