Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to perform scans on GE 1.5 and 0.2 Profile magnets under the guidance of a Radiologist. The role includes image acquisition for diagnostic purposes and adherence to MRI safety standards.

You will participate in protocol development and contrast administration, ensuring high-quality patient care while supporting the hospital's mission and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required at hire.
• Vocational School Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on GE 1.5 and 0.2 Profile magnets under Radiologist supervision.
• Obtain diagnostic images used by physicians to diagnose pathologies.
• Assist in establishment of scan protocols and ensure MRI safety practices.
• Administer contrast as prescribed and monitor patient response.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties on the GE 1.5 and the 0.2 Profile magnets. Is able to obtain images which are used by physicians to diagnose the nature and extent of various pathologies. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in the execution of specific applications. Is responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Osceola Hospital's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

What qualifications you will need:
