HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform MRI scans and related duties under Radiologist direction. You will help establish scan protocols, execute applications, and manage contrast administration while adhering to MRI safety standards.

The role requires ARRT registration, Florida licensure, and CSL within 30 days of starting. This PRN position offers exposure to a Level II Trauma Center in Kissimmee, FL, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Diagnostic Technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Registered with ARRT (R) at hire.
• MRI through ARRT at hire or within 12 months of hire.
• 3 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and related duties on GE 1.5 and 0.2 Profile magnets.
• Obtain images used by physicians to diagnose pathologies.
• Establish scan protocols and execute specific applications; responsible for contrast administration and MRI safety.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties on the GE 1.5 and the 0.2 Profile magnets. Is able to obtain images which are used by physicians to diagnose the nature and extent of various pathologies. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in the execution of specific applications. Is responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of HCA Florida Osceola Hospital. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values. The employee shall support Osceola Hospitals strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an approved School of Diagnostic Technology
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
