Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment under the radiologist's direction and to obtain diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to determine pathology. The role requires ARRT-MR and BCLS and offers a Thursday–Friday shift 8:00 a.m.

to 8:30 p.m., with responsibilities that include protocol setup and contrast administration. You will join a team dedicated to patient care and safety, participate in ongoing education, and

Qualifications

• ARRT-MR certification required.
• CPR/BCLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Vocational training or an associate degree in radiologic technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans under radiologist supervision.
• Acquire diagnostic images and assist with protocol setup.
• Administer contrast and ensure MRI safety practices.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Shift Information for Position: Thursday and Friday: 8a-830p

Under the direction of the Radiologist, is able to perform MRI Scans and all related duties. Is able to obtain images which are used by physicians to diagnose the nature and extent of various pathologies. Participates in the establishment of scan protocols and in the execution of specific applications. Is responsible for contrast administration and maintaining knowledge and practice of MRI safety techniques.

What qualifications you will need:

• (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree, or Certificate
