Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, LLC seeks an MRI Technologist for our Hurst, TX outpatient imaging center. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures, prioritize patient safety and comfort, and ensure accurate imaging results in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT MR (or ARMRIT) certification, graduate from an accredited RT program, and can work Monday-Thursday with a mix of 12s and 8s. A sign-on bonus is offered along with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning and image quality.
• Monitor patients during procedures for safety and comfort.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and policy-compliant (if applicable).
• Maintain MRI equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control.

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracyMaintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
