Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, LLC, partner of Lumexa Imaging, seeks an MRI Technologist for our outpatient imaging center at the Rosedale location in Fort Worth, TX. You will perform high-quality MRI studies, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and an exceptional patient experience.

The role offers a 3-12 hour shift schedule with flexibility, competitive pay, no on-call requirements, and growth opportunities through our Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• ARRT certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning and image quality.
• Monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer contrast agents as directed and per policy (if applicable).
• Verify patient information, orders and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain MRI equipment and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to MRI safety standards and infection control.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and front office staff.
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms and work areas.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols


• Ensure proper patient screening, positioning, and image quality


• Monitor patients throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort


• Administer contrast agents as directed and in compliance with policy (if applicable)


• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy


• Maintain MRI equipment and report any issues promptly


• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and MRI safety standards


• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program


• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
