Job summary

RadNet in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high quality MRI exams and ensure patient safety while adhering to policy and procedure. You will adjust MRI parameters, administer contrast, and guide patients through the exam with clear communication.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a state license if applicable, BLS, and preferably 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience. Excellent patient care and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
  • State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • A venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
  • At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Job description

As an MRI Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century. You will work with all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

You Will
  • Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
  • Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
  • Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
  • Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view, and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
  • Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
  • Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
  • Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
  • Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
  • Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
  • Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
  • ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Pay Range: $38.00–$58.00 per hour
