Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. is seeking a motivated X-Ray Technologist for our Oklahoma City outpatient imaging center. Join a fast-paced team dedicated to patient safety, comfort and high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring image quality, and maintaining equipment while following HIPAA and safety standards. ARRT registration or registry-eligibility is required or preferred, with licensure as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible).
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly.
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
