Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, including venipuncture and assisting the Radiologist and nurses with sedation cases.

Education requires graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with MQSA compliance. Candidates must hold ARRT(M) with Texas MRT or ARMRIT, and BLS. One year of work experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program with MQSA compliance.
• Licenses: ARRT(M) with Texas MRT or ARMRIT, or ARMRIT.
• BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Assist Radiologist and radiology nurses with sedation cases.
• Perform venipuncture when indicated.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines

Licenses And/or Certifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year work experience, preferred
