Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role includes venipuncture when indicated and assisting the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

The position is PRN with on-site work. Requires completion of an approved Radiologic Technologist program, current ARRT(M)/MRT or ARMRIT certification and BLS. One year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA compliance.
• Current ARRT (M) with MRT or ARMRIT certification.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Perform venipuncture when indicated.
• Assist Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Job Requirements

Education

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines

Licenses And/or Certifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year work experience, preferred
