Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role includes venipuncture when indicated and assisting the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program with ARRT(M) or ARMRIT credentials, Texas MRT, and BLS certification. Previous MRI experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA guidelines.
• Current ARRT(M) or ARMRIT certification with Texas MRT.
• BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Perform venipuncture when indicated.
• Assist Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines

Licenses And/or Certifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year work experience, preferred
