Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist MRI Technologist position performs routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging with venipuncture when indicated. The role supports radiologists and nurses in sedation cases in a busy medical center setting.

Applicants should be graduates of an approved Radiologic Technologist program with MQSA guidelines, ARRT(M) (or ARMRIT) licensure, and BLS certification. About 1 year of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and MQSA guidelines.
• ARRT(M) combined with Texas MRT or ARMRIT license, or ARRT(M) and MRT license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging.
• Assist radiologist and radiology staff with venipuncture and sedation cases as indicated.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, performing venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Education

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program and meets the MQSA guidelines

Licenses And/or Certifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT (M) combined with Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT), or ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association

Work Experience

• 1 year work experience, preferred
