Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to operate MRI equipment in outpatient settings for diverse patient populations. You will perform tomographic imaging across neonate to geriatric patients with precision and care.

Graduates of accredited MRI or Radiologic Technology programs are invited to apply; ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) credentials are preferred, and BLS is required for all staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for patients across age groups in an outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Preferred

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
