Job summary

Northside Hospital in the Atlanta area seeks a qualified Magnetic Resonance Imaging technologist to perform outpatient MRI exams across neonate to geriatric patients.

Required: graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology; Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT/ARRT MR registry; and American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Preferred: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) registration and one year of MRI training/experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (must be RT credential).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with 1 year in diagnostic radiology or MR registry (ARMRIT/ARRT MR) in lieu of RT.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform outpatient MRI exams across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Ensure patient safety and image quality during MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment, assist in patient positioning and screening.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
