Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a qualified MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and create tomographic images for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient settings.

Requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT MR registry, and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support. One year of diagnostic radiology experience or MR registry in lieu of RT certification is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

Preferred

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
