Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment for diverse patient populations in an outpatient setting. The candidate should hold graduation from an accredited MR program or Radiologic Technology program with MR registry eligibility and possess an RT credential with ARMRIT/ARRT MR registry options.

Required BLS by American Heart Association; preferred MR certification by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR) and 1 year of MRI experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT).
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
