Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI equipment and produce high-quality tomographic images for patients across all ages in an outpatient setting.

Candidates should hold an accredited MRI program diploma, RT/MR registration, and BLS certification, with experience preferred for ARMRIT MR or ARRT MR registries. Work hours are 8:30-5pm and opportunity to contribute to a leading Atlanta-area health system.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS (American Heart Association)
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
• Registered RT or MR registry (ARMRIT MR or ARRT MR) or ARRT RT with relevant experience

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient setting

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
