Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a qualified Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist to perform MRI exams in an outpatient setting for diverse patient populations, from neonates to geriatrics.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program, ARRT MR or ARMRIT MR certification (or equivalent), and American Heart Association Basic Life Support. Strong attention to safety and image quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• RT with 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience or MR registry.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for patients across age groups in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.

Work Hours:

8:30-5pm
