Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. You will perform MR examinations, optimize image quality, and ensure patient safety throughout the scanning process.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an approved MRI program, and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification; basic life support is required. This on-site position offers teamwork with a skilled staff, modern MRI equipment, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic images for neonate to geriatric patients in outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Required

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.

Preferred

• Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
• One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
