Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a qualified MRI technologist to join its radiology team in an outpatient setting. The candidate should graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program and hold RT with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT/ARRT MR registry.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support is required. Preferred credentials include MR registry by ARRT or ARMRIT and MRI training/experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one year of diagnostic radiology experience or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) registry in lieu of RT.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to produce tomographic films for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment to produce tomographic films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

REQUIRED

1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or Accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging Program.
2. Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with one (1) year of experience in diagnostic radiology or ARMRIT (MR) registry or ARRT (MR) only registry in lieu of ARRT (RT) certification and diagnostic radiology experience.
3. Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support

PREFERRED

1. Registered MRI Technologist by ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (MR)
2. One (1) year of training and experience in MRI.
