Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla Imaging is seeking a full-time MRI technologist to join our team. The position reports to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and AMP and includes an on-call rotation. 8-hour varied day shifts, 80 hours per pay period, with eligibility for new hire incentive up to $4,000.

Two facilities in the San Diego area participate; the role requires a Magnet hospital setting with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and professional development within Scripps Health.

Qualifications

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT certification required.
• Venipuncture class completion; certificate provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association required.
• Completion of a formal Radiology Technology training program or equivalent education and experience.
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills required.

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 8-hour varied day shifts. The role also includes participation in an on-call rotation.

This position requires reporting to both Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla and AMP.

* Must remain in original Job Title

* Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or CRT
• Venipuncture class completion. Certificate must be provided at application; 10 sticks must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Radiology Technology or equivalent education and experience in radiologic imaging obtained through a hospital-based training program or other formalized on-the-job program, in combination with current licensure/certification
• Excellent investigative, interpersonal and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of MRI experience
• Cardiac and Breast experience
• Experience with Siemens scanners
