Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our radiology team. You will perform diagnostic MR examinations, adhere to safety standards, and support physicians in evaluating patient conditions across age groups.

Required are an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training, plus 1 year of MRI experience. A ARRT MRI certification and BCLS are expected upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• ARRT Radiography Certification (R)(MR) upon hire required; ARRT MRI certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic MR examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal through geriatric patients.
• Adhere to safety requirements for magnetic safety and equipment.
• Demonstrate ability to perform advanced MR imaging procedures and coordinate with physicians.

Schedule: 4 10's Monday-Thursday, 12p-10:30p

Responsibilities:

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Adheres to all safety requirements for magnetic safety. Demonstrates ability to perform advance MR imaging procedures and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Education

• ARRT Radiography Certification Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiography (R) (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
