Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team in New York. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in MRI or radiology and ARRT certification is a plus. You will operate MRI equipment efficiently, prepare patients, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely results.

Requirements include two years of experience, BLS certification, and NY license. Preference given to those with Level 1 trauma center experience, and ARRT certification is preferred with willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in MRI/radiology are required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification is required at least to have
• Must have client scanner experience to be considered
• Level 1 trauma center experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Document all procedures while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient care as needed.

Complete Description:

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• MUST HAVE Client SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience

Preferred:

• Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting
