Job summary

Equiliem is seeking an MRI Technologist in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in MRI or radiology, with ARRT certification preferred and willingness to obtain it after starting.

You will operate MRI equipment efficiently, help patients feel comfortable, and coordinate with physicians to ensure timely delivery of results. You must be able to stand for long periods, understand medical terminology, and perform patient care tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology.
• ARRT certification is a plus (not required).
• Experience operating MRI and coordinating with physicians.

Job Summary

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team. You must have an associate degree in magnetic resonance imaging or radiology; certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is a plus. Our ideal candidate knows how to operate the MRI machine efficiently, can make patients feel comfortable before and during the scanning procedure, and coordinates with the patient's physician to ensure the results are received in a timely manner. You also must be familiar with medical terminology and be able to stand for extended periods.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure to help them feel comfortable
• Document all procedures while maintaining the confidentiality of patient information
• Patient care tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Two (2) Years' Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• MUST HAVE Client or Siemens MRI SCANNER EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED
• Certification through the ARRT or a similar organization (preferred) - must be willing to obtain this after starting

Specific Equipment Familiarity

All Non-Contrast exams, Routine MSK, Neuro, Spine and occasional body MRI.

Shift

• 3x12s; no university holidays, and no call
• Saturday 7am-7:30pm
• Sunday 7am-7:30pm
• Monday 9:30am-10pm
• They will need to work full time 40 hrs for the first 2 weeks before they begin their solo shift. They may need to be flexible and work day and/or evenings in order to orientate.
