Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, and BCLS with ARDMS/ARRT registration upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• BCLS certification upon hire; ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the direct guidance of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Ensure imaging quality and safety according to prescribed standards.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
