Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to image anatomies and physiologic conditions using MRI, under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist. You will perform diagnostic MR examinations and ensure patient care across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric, in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training and hold ARDMS or ARRT radiography registration with BCLS certification,

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• No experience required for this MR role.
• AR DMS or ARRT radiography registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Image anatomy and physiology using MRI under radiologist supervision.
• Perform diagnostic MR exams following prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care for neonatal to geriatric patients.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists utilize the resonant frequency properties of atoms within a magnetic field to image anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the body to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease. MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
