Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to image and assist in diagnosing diseases using MRI in accordance with Radiologist guidance. You will provide patient care across all age groups, from neonatal to geriatrics, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The position requires graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, and ARDMS/ARRT registration with BCLS upon hire. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations under the guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Follow prescribed standards and safety protocols during imaging procedures.

MR technologists perform diagnostic magnetic resonance examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. MR Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
