Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking an MRI Technologist Aide for a per diem, part-time role in Woburn, MA. You will assist the technologists, prepare exam rooms, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures at Winchester Hospital facilities.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and the ability to assist patients with mobility and to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Assist Technologist in setting up the room and patient preparation.
• Assist in setting the patient for exam and ensuring safety devices are in place.
• Aid patient on/off exam table and assist to changing area.
• Assist with paperwork and prior exams as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms.
