Job summary

CHI Mercy Health in Roseburg, Oregon, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI exams. You will prepare patients, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety, and capture detailed images.

You will collaborate with radiologists on protocols, maintain MRI QC, and ensure data accuracy. Applicants must graduate from an accredited MRI program, hold an Oregon MRI license, ARRT MRI, and BLS. Relocation and student loan repayment programs may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MRI Technology Program.
• Oregon MRI License.
• ARRT Registered Technologist MRI.
• AHA BLS within 30 Days.

Responsibilities

• Performs all MRI exams providing images of high quality.
• Performs special MR imaging techniques for special need patient groups.
• Understands the use of pulse oximetry, gating devices, power injector and all MRI accessories.
• Consults with Radiologist for special protocols on special imaging cases.
• Ensures MRI QC (quality control) is performed on equipment.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.

To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

Pay Range

$45.50 - $62.48 /hour
