Job summary

CHI Mercy Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations, prepare patients for scans, and operate advanced MRI equipment with strict safety. You will collaborate with radiologists and ensure image quality through proper QC procedures, while maintaining patient comfort and safety during the diagnostic process.

Applicants should have graduated from an accredited MRI Technology Program, hold an Oregon MRI license, be ARRT MRI registered, and obtain AHA BLS within 30

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI exams delivering high-quality images.
• Uses special MR imaging techniques for unique patient groups.
• Understands pulse oximetry, gating devices, power injector, and MRI accessories.
• Consults with Radiologist for special protocols on imaging cases.
• Ensures MRI QC is performed on equipment.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

• Performs all MRI exams providing images of high quality.
• Performs special MR imaging techniques for special need patient groups.
• Understands the use of pulse oximetry, gating devices, power injector and all MRI accessories.
• Consults with Radiologist for special protocols on special imaging cases.
• Ensures MRI QC (quality control) is performed on equipment.

Pay Range

$45.50 - $62.48 /hour
