CHI Health Immanuel in Omaha, NE seeks an MRI Technologist to perform high-quality MRI examinations and support accurate diagnostics. You will prepare patients, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure safety, and work to achieve optimal image quality while maintaining meticulous records.

The role offers full-time hours, new graduate support, and opportunities to cross-train in related modalities. Sign-on and educational assistance are available for external candidates.

Competenze

• Associates degree or equivalent in radiology required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT upon hire and MRI in 24 months.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.

Mansioni

• Perform high-quality MRI exams to aid diagnosis.
• Prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, ensure safety and image quality.
• Position patients and screen for MR safety prior to procedures.
• Start IVs and administer contrast per protocol where applicable.

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Job Summary And Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.

Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.

To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

• Utilizes innovative customer service techniques to provide a positive patient care experience for the patient and their family.
• Acts professionally in all dealings with internal and external customers to promote a working environment that focuses on the patient experience.
• Perform complex specialized tasks associated with the operations of high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce special images of specific body parts. Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Screen patients for MR safety prior to procedure performance.
• Starts IV’s and the injecting of contrast, if applicable per protocol.
• Maintains records for compliance for JACHO and ACR accreditation.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates Other (2 year program) or equivalent, upon hire and
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Radiology, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
• Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging, within 24 - months

Preferred

• 1-2 years MRI experience

Pay Range

$32.30 - $48.05 /hour
