Job summary

UVA Health Outpatient Imaging Culpeper in Culpeper, Virginia seeks an experienced Lead MRI Technologist to coordinate day-to-day MRI workflow, provide clinical leadership, and mentor technologists to maintain safety, image quality, and excellent patient care.

This full-time role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, no on-call requirements, a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive benefits, and ongoing professional development including MRSO training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Associate degree in Radiology or equivalent program.
• ARRT or ARMIT registration with MR advanced registry within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily MRI department operations and workflow.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to technologists and staff.
• Ensure MRI safety, image quality, and compliance with protocols.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to optimize patient care.
