Job summary

UVA Health Outpatient Imaging Culpeper is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to oversee daily MRI workflow and mentor technologists. This full-time position emphasizes clinical leadership, safety, and patient-centered care in Culpeper, VA.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ MRI experience with ARRT/ARMIT registrations and a radiology associate degree. Sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as MRI Technologist.
• Current ARRT Radiography and ARRT or ARMIT MR registrations; MR advanced registration required upon hire for IDTF.
• State licensure as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily MRI department operations and workflow.
• Provide leadership and support to MRI technologists and clinical staff.
• Ensure MRI safety standards and accreditation requirements are met.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, training, onboarding, and team development.
• Maintain high image quality and adhere to MRI protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and staff to optimize patient care.
