Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a senior leader to oversee modality-specific activities in medical imaging, manage MRI operations, and drive quality improvement and patient care initiatives.

The role partners with the Executive Director and Associate Director, Medical Imaging to optimize staffing, budget, training, and technology strategy while ensuring compliance with safety standards and accreditation requirements. Leadership experience in healthcare is required.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree preferred; minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership or progressive managerial responsibility.
• Current ARRT, NMTCB, or SDMS certification and IEMA license (as applicable); ARRT Advanced certification required for CT/IR and MR.
• Basic Life Support Certification through American Heart Association required; CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees modality-specific activities in medical imaging and directs operations for MRI.
• Develops and implements programs to meet the needs of families and physicians.
• Manages day-to-day operational activities and provides mentorship to staff.
• Monitors staffing, budgets, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting bodies and safety standards.
