Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to join our MRI team. You will support MRI technologists and physicians, help ensure patient safety, prepare coils, assist with screenings, and maintain a clean, organized MRI suite.

The position requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and at least one year in a medical setting. This entry-level role emphasizes professionalism, strong communication, and the ability to lift patients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification
• At least one year experience in medical setting
• Completion of MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on clinical training
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal/written communication
• Ability to assist in lifting patients onto tables

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff for MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to MRI Technologist for MRI safety, assist with coil positioning, screening, and observation during exams.
• Support technologists with coil setup, schedule maintenance, and cleanup of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and PHI on site.
• Safeguard on-site medications per Company policies and legal requirements.
• Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities in all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
