Job summary

RadNet is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to support MRI safety and patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment. You will assist MRI technologists, convey patient history, and set up coils while helping maintain a clean, organized MRI suite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• At least one year experience in a medical setting.
• Completion of MR Technologist Assistant program with hands-on training.
• Excellent interpersonal, public relations and verbal/written communication.
• Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and staff to ensure MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety and observation during exams.
• Set up coils, schedule maintenance, and clean-up of MRI suite.
• Safeguard patient property and Health Information on site.
• Safeguard medications on site per company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
