Job summary

RadNet is seeking an In Suite Assistant 1 to join our MRI team in the 21st century healthcare setting. You will support MRI technologists and radiologists to ensure patient safety, assist with coil setup, and help maintain a safe, efficient MRI suite while safeguarding patient information and belongings.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and hands-on MR technologist assistant training with at least one year in a medical setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist MRI Steering Technologist and radiologists to ensure patient safety.

You Will:

• Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care.
• Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams.
• Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• BLS Certification

• Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table
