Job summary

Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha, NE seeks an MRI Technologist to assist in capturing, processing, and managing research images using a 3T Siemens Prisma MRI, primarily for research scans.

You will perform quality MRI exams, maintain a safe environment, screen participants, and support radiology staff in image transfer and protocol adherence, with opportunities to work collaboratively across investigators.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT in Radiography and Nebraska licensure.
• CPR certification.
• CITI certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Capture, process, and manage MRI images.
• Train to operate a 3T Siemens Prisma MRI for research scans.
• Perform quality MRI exams and acquire images per research protocols.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment for research subjects and personnel.
• Perform safety screening prior to exams.
• Document procedures and save/upload images per protocols.
• Assist with positioning, transfer and immobilization of research participants.
• Assist with room preparation, cleaning, and turnover of radiology rooms.
• Coordinate with check-in, scheduling, and registration in imaging workflows.
• Send images to other facilities via PowerShare and PACS.
